Household Manager/Personal Assistant

You:

  • Have a diverse set of skills, ranging from household management to office administration

  • Can manage a flexible schedule and fluid day-to-day responsibilities
  • Have reliable transportation and are willing to use it

Job Details:

  • Part-time, independent contract with room to grow
  • 15 hours per week to start
  • $10-$12/hr. depending on assignment/experience; mileage reimbursement if applicable
  • Tasks will vary — from picking up a house, doing laundry, running errands for a personal client to organizing or filing for a small business client
  • Hours will vary — depending on projects and client needs
  • Work may be indoors or outdoors, involve standing/sitting/carrying/moderate lifting
  • Candidates must be capable of clear communication: written, digital and verbal
  • Candidates must be timely, organized, and professional

In-Home Pet Sitter

The Second You is seeking an experienced, reliable pet sitter to help care for our clients’ cherished critters.

You:

  • Wish it *actually* rained cats and dogs, because that’s how much you love them
  • Are trustworthy and naturally communicative, with people and pets alike
  • Regularly available for in-home overnight stays, mid-day visits and changing tasks
  • Have reliable transportation and are willing to use it to be prompt and dependable
  • May be asked to walk dogs, feed chickens, play with cats, take fish photos, and more
  • Thrive on variety, with an ability to be responsive and take direction via text and email
  • Learn and think quickly, but are still pleasant, present and engaging
  • Like being helpful, are naturally oriented to “yes” as an answer
  • Consider reliability to be one of your best attributes — you are consistent and credible

  • Hours will vary, depending on client needs — and will likely include overnight stays in the client’s home
  • Work may be indoors or outdoors, involve walking/standing/carrying/moderate lifting
  • Applicants should be comfortable with big dogs, small fish and everything in between
  • Candidates must be capable of clear communication: written, digital and verbal
  • Candidates must be timely, organized, and professional
